MATT TAYLOR
Currently Professor at Fullerton College, Matt coached one of the nation's finest
teams at Long Beach
State University
particularly in parliamentary debate and individual events but policy
debate as well. Matt writes on debate theory, peace movements, and
rhetorical theory, and he is a dynamic and engaging educator. He received
his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California; his M.A. from the
University of Oregon; and his B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University.

JIM
HANSON
Coach of an outstanding team, particularly in policy and parliamentary debate
but individual events as well, Jim hosts one of the Northwest's largest
high school tournaments. He is also President of the N.P.T.E. and Ranking
Director for the N.D.T. He is Director of Forensics and Professor at Whitman College and is well liked by his
students. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Southern California;
his M.A. at the University of Washington; and his B.A. at Western
Washington University.
